Background & Experience
John Medak joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson in 1998 following his relocation from the Bay Area, where he worked for CB Richard Ellis. From 1999 to 2008, John completed more than 800 leasing and sales transactions totaling in excess of $300 million in total consideration. He was an NAI NBS Top Deal Maker from 2000 to 2005, and in 2006 was the #1 Deal Maker of the Year with 90 transactions closed. He has made three consecutive appearances as an NAI NBS Top 5 Producer.
John has garnered recognition from numerous organizations for his brokerage successes. In 1999, he was nominated for CAR’s Rookie of the Year, and the National Association of Realtors recognized him as one of the top 5 brokers in the country under the age of 30 in 2001. In 2007 and 2008, he achieved NAI Global’s Gold Member status, awarded to the top 3% of brokers in a 5,000-plus network. He has been a CoStar Power Broker four of the past five years, and was runner up for CAR’s 2009 Office Broker of the Year.
Education
John has a B.A. in Management and Finance, with a real estate emphasis, from the University of San Diego.
