Background & Experience
Portland native Charlie Floberg joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s Suburban Office team in 2005. He offers his clients superior service in both leasing and sales brokerage, specializing in client relationships and facilitating communication.
Charlie’s skill set and knowledge base provide a unique backdrop to his commercial real estate career. He possesses experience in a cross-section of industry facets including property management, development, construction and renovation. Prior to joining NAI NBS, Charlie was an Account Assistant with Chicago insurance brokerage Thilman Filippini, where he assisted clients in attending to their day-to-day insurance needs. During his time there, Charlie honed his analytical and client services abilities.
Education
Charlie is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned a B.A. in Business with an emphasis on Finance from the Leeds School of Business. Some of the highlights from his collegiate career include participation in authoring and subsequent publication of a business textbook. Charlie was responsible for providing chapters on the commercial real estate industry. He is also a Certified Green Broker, which entails taking an in-depth, 30-hour course on green building, leasing, and operations and maintenance.
