Background & Experience
Beverly Chesnut Foster joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson in 2008 as an on-site property manager. In her more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Beverly has managed over 2.5 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties.
Beverly’s unique breadth of experience in various positions in both the public and private sectors of commercial real estate gives her a comprehensive approach to property management. She has worked with many types of clients, from single owners to corporations like Prudential Insurance, General Motors, and Safeco Insurance. Her priority is to deliver excellent customer service and meet goals for each property she manages. She accomplishes this by listening to clients’ objectives, building relationships and working with an integrated team. She excels at preparing monthly status reports for owners, financial analysis and property management plans.
Prior to joining NAI NBS, Beverly provided consulting services in the Pacific Northwest and Europe with Foster Chesnut Associates LLC, which she founded and directed. During her career, she has managed commercial portfolios for Grubb & Ellis and Standard Real Estate Investors. She also served as a property manager for the Port of Portland, where she aided in the highly successful development of Main Street retail and business service centers at Portland International Airport. To aid emerging democracies, she lectured on real estate and management for two years at a Central European college.
Education
Beverly holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University and a master’s in management from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a licensed real estate broker in the state of Oregon. |
