What Does 2012 Hold for the Investment and Capital Markets
2011 brought some very positive developments (no pun intended!) in the commercial real estate market. In the tri-county Portland-metro area, commercial transaction volume was $1.39 billion, an 84 percent increase over 2010. Both the number of sale transactions and total consideration increased over the previous year. Sales were spread across product types, with multifamily in the lead at 18 percent of transactions.

During the Great Depression, Norris, Beggs and Simpson was founded as Norris, Beggs and Base.  On April 1, 1932 it opened its doors as a property management firm in the old Wilcox building at 506 S.W.
